      All messaging subsystem tests passes on JDK7 but fails with JDK8 because BroadcastGroupAdd#populateModel falsely assumes that the connector resources have been populated before the current broadcast-group.

      There is no such guarantee, the connector-refs validations must be done in a separate OperationStepHandler after all the MODEL's OSHs instead.
