      Modeshape was responding slowly the first time users queried it for data. A coding change has been applied and it now responds more quickly.

      Description

      I noticed that Modeshape responses slowly when asked for data for the first time.

      My config is: SOA Platform 5.1 GA with Modeshape installed.
      I published some data into eds (default) repository - created one folder and a file under this folder. Then I restarted SOA-P and queried saved data from eds repository - it took 50 or 60 seconds for Modeshape to respond.

      I tried to retrieve data using standard JCR api and through web interface and curl utility as well. Response time was the same.
