pickList should support grouping with selectItemGroup

    Details

      Description

Standard JSF components like <h:selectManyListbox> support grouping of selectItems using the selectItemGroup component.
It would be nice if <rich:pickList> could also support grouping. This would allow the picklist to be a full drop-in replacement.

RichFaces 3 is no longer being developed so this feature request is not going to be implemented. If you feel the request is still valid for RichFaces 4.5.x feel free to reopen this issue. (Bulk closing)
