      Description

In Showcase we have three samples for status component. Their goal is to display a .gif file during an ajax request, which indicates that some work is being done.

However when browsing Showcase and trying these samples I have to say that the requests are way too quick and sometimes its hard to even notice the gif file.

Furthermore it makes testing Showcase tricky as Selenium is not fast enough to catch a glimpse of what is going on (see RF-14101).

I think we might want to put some sort of a delay to artificially prolong the request duration. That would make the gif file appear for a longer period of time hence improving both - user experience and testability.

The simplest solution would be to add a wait method into the backing bean, but I yet to test that. Suggestions for any other approaches are welcomed.
