          Hi Brian,

I can's still build, my setup follows.

Could you please sent also your setup so I can try to narrow it down in my env (it starts to be environment specific)?

Sorry Lukas, seeing your error output made me realize that the parent pom was resolvable via the file system. Trying this again in a temp folder produces the same error you are seeing.

Defining the repository in the pom.xml file itself is a workaround for this problem.

Is defining the repository in the pom.xml an okay solution for us, (as a workaround)?
Or should we just instruct people to make sure they have the parent pom checked you locally?

          Hi Brian,

workaround you suggested seems for me better solution than special instructions.

I've created a branch called feature/RF-11052-workaround with this workaround. If we are happy with it, we can merge this branch.

A new jira issue should then be created, to remove this workaround when the maven shade plugin is fixed.
