Better coexistence of builtin providers and custom providers

It would be nice to be able to create custom providers that let the built-in providers do all the heavy lifting. Perhaps a way out is to have an order where, in conflicting situations, the custom provider is given precedence. At present the provider created first/registered first wins. Perhaps it should be the other way around especially as the spring context listener (SpringContextLoaderListener) must run after the ResteasyBootstrap.
