Deprecate/remove Jettison for Jackson

    Description

      The Jettison project appears to no longer be maintained

      Codehaus shut down at the end of May 2015 (http://www.codehaus.org/history/#tocAnchor-1-5) and moved the Jettison source code https://github.com/codehaus/jettison

      There is does not appear to be an active maintainer or publically accessible documentation published for Jettison

      At the moment the only go forward option appears to be Jackson, but RESTEasy does not fully support Jackson (Link / Hypermedia support).

      This is a request for the RESTEasy maintainers to state their plan for Jettison
