      We don't want to alienate the NetBeans community, but we definitely must not alienate the VSCode community. If ConstraintStreams's ConstraintProviders don't compile on NetBeans, they might not do so on VSCode either.

      Reqs:

      • Reproduce it on NetBeans
      • See if we can do anything reasonable in our API to avoid it.
      • If not, submit an issue on NetBeans and link it in this jira and stackoverflow
