Pressing "Download Now" button on http://www.jboss.org/products leads to an empty page

    Details

      Description

When trying to download any product from http://www.jboss.org/products hitting the Download now button, an empty page is displayed and the download manager does not start.

Link for EAP for instance: http://www.redhat.com/j/elqNow/elqRedir.htm?ref=https://www.jboss.org/download-manager/content/origin/files/sha256/62/627773f1798623eb599bbf7d39567f60941a706dc971c17f5232ffad028bc6f4/jboss-eap-6.2.0.zip

For others (e.g. Nick Boldt and Michelle Murray ) this works fine, but there is a risk some users may encounter the same problem.

Thank you for reporting the issue. It works for me. Have you tried a different web browser? Also what happen, if you refresh your cache?

In Konqueror it works (Download -> login -> the download starts). In FF, the problem persists after complete reload (CTRL+R / SHIFT+CTRL+R). Shall I remove cookies? If so, which ones?

It sounds interesting. I usually work in FF and it works there. Cookies shall not be a problem, but can you try to clean your cache in FF? Ctrl+R nor shift+ctrl+R can not help because it seems you have a problem with loading the file not the products page itself (that is cleaned by those refreshes).

We found out the request stopped on Eloqua site, because Do not track me plugin was enabled. It would be useful, if some information about browser plugins was displayed on the Eloqua page instead of blank page with Javascript.

David Hladky any ETA on when/if this will be fixed ? Many developers will probably run something similar so it would be great if it could be fixed so not just blank screen.

Hi Max, the problem is it is not in my hands. I created a ticket, that can be tracked here https://redhat.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sc_request.do%3Fsys_id=02bfa133bcfb9500086d6bb1cdbe5e12%26sysparm_stack=sc_request_list.do%3Fsysparm_query=active=true . The say it is completed, but I just checked the behaviour and do not see any improvement. I will notify them about the problem again.

Thanks for following up - I unfortunately can't see anything on that link so would be great to let us know if it continues to be stuck or progress is made.

Hi Max, progress so far: they created some ticket to eng-ops, which is not right. Gabi Ghali (after my yesterday question) commented:

          "Gabi's comment"

          Brian,

I don't believe this ticket should go to eng-ops. Please send it to the web group in Service Now, attention of Greg Manetti.
