      Description

In the RichFaces 5 rapid board quick filters tab, I cannot create a 'Quick Filter' in Green Hopper. Trying to create a filter with the values:

      Name: 5.0.0.Alpha1
      JQL: version = '5.0.0.Alpha1'
      Description: 5.0.0.Alpha1

The ajax spinner spins, and no response is received from the server.

The javascript error console provides the message:

      POST https://issues.jboss.org/rest/greenhopper/1.0/quickfilters/331/ 400 (Bad Request)

            Hi Brian,

seems filtering over 'version' is not supported in JQL for Quick Filters. At least 'version' field is not offered by JQL completion assistant.
For other JQL's filters are created correctly.
So seems there is bug in Green Hopper GUI which do not show error message about invalid JQL correctly.
But Quick filter creation alone works correctly.

I'll retest this problem for latest GreenHopper during planned upgrade and raise upstream issues if problem will persist.

Ahh! I mean fixVersion! Silly me...

I don't need support for "version" filters, but I agree getting the error notification would have helped me see my mistake sooner.

Problem still present in GreenHopper 6.1.5, so I'm going to report this GUI problem to the Atlassian.

Bug created in GreenHopper issue tracker for GUI problem, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-8522

I'm going to resolve this issue because I do not see too much reasons to leave it open. It's only minor GUI problem. But your main problem around filter creation has been resolved.
