JCR-QOM cannot select from column of subtype

Let's say we have nodetype A and nodetype B, where B has supertype A.

If nodetype B has property C, when selecting property C in a query with nodetype A, this throws an Exception stating the column cannot be found for A.

This works perfectly fine in JCR-SQL2.
