    Description

      There should be a way for a RESTful client to register listeners, perhaps via a websocket-based approach. See also MODE-1459 for how websockets would also be useful for remoteable JCR implementation.

      Not sure what the websocket implementation might end up looking like; will likely depend on the technology we use.
