Date field value not carried over to next actor, when submitting forms through REST API

We upgraded our server to 7.18 and tried to submit the form through REST API.

The form is submitted without any errors. However, the date field value is not carried over to next actor and it's just 'mm/dd/yyyy'.

However, If i submit the form from business central, the date field value is carried over to next actor.

Please help us by fixing this issue.
