Previous versions of JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5 were released with a bug in the <filename>log4j.xml</filename> file. This file contained two <literal>jgroups</literal> categories. This prevented correct logging and resulted in empty <filename>cluster.log</filename> files. The extra <literal>jgroups</literal> category has been removed in this release and logging now functions correctly.

    Description

The log4j.xml had duplicate entries for the jgroups category, which due to a bug in log4j xml config, results in no logging to cluster.log file, and also effects the jboss.ha logging category .

This issue results in an empty cluster.log file
