ANN-555 fix breaks backward compatibility

Because of ANN-555 fix, applications built in the past stop working in EAP 4.2 CP07.

From Emmanuel: Solution is to add the old typo and mark it with @Deprecated. Core code must also be able to handle both annotations.

4.3 CPx should also hit this regression.
