      There is a possibility of unlock missing the call to reentrantLock.unlock:

      protected void unlock()
   {
      if (tryLock < 0)
         return;

      if (getLog().isTraceEnabled())
         dumpLockInformation(false);

      if (lock.isHeldByCurrentThread())
         lock.unlock();
   }

      This bug is random.
