weird "shadow effect" on VPE and selection sync doesn't work anymore

      using JBoss AS 7 quickstarts , scrolling gives this weird "Shadow" affect and clicking in either text or visual does not sync the view
      so the main usecase of VPE allowing to quickly find corrsponding ui/source.
