      Install jvm and set environment variables: java version "1.6.0_26"
      Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
      Oracle JRockit(R) (build R28.1.4-7-144370-1.6.0_26-20110617-2131-windows-ia32,

      Install JBossAS-7 (i.e. jboss-as-7.0.1.Final).

      Install maven.
      Set all environment variables as suggested in the jboss AS installation guide.
      Test both maven and jboss server.

      Install Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.

      Build id: 20110615-0604

      Add the jboss tools nightly update site: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/trunk/

      Install Software and select JBossAS Tools
      Go to Preferences + Server + Runtime Environments: Add
      Select JBoss 7.x Runtime. Create a new local serer is checked. makes no difference.
      Click Next and you see the error.
      Selecting or typing another location makes no difference.

    Description

      Error when setting up a Server Runtime Environment for jboss-as-7 in eclipse (or netbeans for that matter).
      It makes no difference if you put the jboss server in the default location (c:/program files/jboss-7.0.x).
