make sure you have a zipped deployment running on a jboss as7 server change the deployment mode from zipped to exploded (double click the server adapter, switch to the "Deployment" tab in the upcoming editor, UNCHECK "Deploy projects as compressed archives" and save the editor change a single resource in your project (ex. index.html) Result: Deployment fails
