JBPM Editor moves nodes to home (0,0) position after source editing

      Edit an existing process definition in diagram mode. Make sure you have some nodes with connections going in and out (this part may not matter.)
      Switch to source mode.
      Add a class specification to one of the nodes something like <action class="foo"/>
      Save the definiton
      Switch to Diagram mode. The edit nodes and its associates (non end-state or start-state) will have moved to the home position
