ASSERT: make sure you have at least 1 application running on OpenShift EXEC: go to OpenShift Explorer and pick Edit Embedded Cartridges in the context menu of your application EXEC: in the upcoming dialog: check jenkins-client ASSERT: you get informed that you have to create a jenkins application in order to embed jenkins-client EXEC: hit Apply ASSERT: you get prompted to provide a name for the jenkins application EXEC: give it some name and proceed ASSERT: once the jenkins application was created you get a creation log dialog that gives you the username, password, IP and URL: EXEC: write those down and close the dialog. EXEC: go to OpenShift Explorer and pick Environemnt Variables from the context menu of your application Result: In the upcoming view inspect the jenkins environment variables and see if they match to the ones reported in the dialog. They dont!
