When you have multiple projects in a workspace, let's say the 5 quickstarts from JBoss Central and perhaps a previously Maven imported project, and then you import yet another Maven project (e.g. some of the quickstarts from your local hard drive), it throws up red xs on SOME of the previous projects - requiring the Maven Update Project Configuration trick.
