Steps to Reproduce:

Hide

Use a clear workspace
Create a new Dynamic Web Project (target runtime is not necessary for this issue)
Do not expand the project nodein the project explorer view
Enable JAX-RS
Try to expand the project node: nothing appear and the expansion icon disappears: the user cannot see the project content
Remove the JAX-RS support, refresh the project -> project node expansion works.
