Synchronous start of batch job execution

JBeret currently always starts a job execution asynchronously. Sometimes it's desirable to start a job execution synchronously. For instance, to block and wait for the job execution to finish, or to prevent other job executions from running.

Need to explore whether and how to start a job execution in JBeret either synchronously or asynchronously.

The same applies to restarting a job execution.
