    Description

      In the default EAP-7 configuration files we have "MPING" protocol defined as below in the tcp stack :

      ~~~
      <stack name="tcp">
      <transport type="TCP" socket-binding="jgroups-tcp"/>
      <protocol type="MPING" socket-binding="jgroups-mping"/>
      ~~~

      To use TCP for creating a EAP cluster we have to remove "MPING" and add TCPPING protocol, the detailed steps are mentioned here[https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3021711

      Can anyone confirm if MPING is not required and needs to be removed, then why do we ship it by default ?
