Description
On JBoss prior to 4.0.3 FINAL (that is RC2), one could deploy Hibernate application using the Hibernate MBean the following way:
Create a app-hibernate.har containing a hibernate-service.xml and the .hbm.xml files, and declare it as a HAR module in the jboss-app.xml in the EAR for the application. Create an app-classes.jar containing the Hibernate classes, and declare it as a Java module in the application.xml in the EAR for the application.
When deployed together with other EJB, SERVICE and JAVA modules, neither the HAR or the EJB modules are deployed. However, I have a different application where all modules are deployed as they should.
The problem is solved by packaging the Hibernate service as an ordinary service, but the documentation should be updated to include a description of new packaging.
