We haven't fixed a single tree bug in 2016, and a single one in 2015 (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-4661). There appear to be some people still using it and hitting bugs (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29673123/infinispan-treecache-not-getting-distributed-properly). We need to clearly describe the semantics we support and the context (i.e. transaction only).
