Basically every time a JCA Inbound connection factory or outgoing Connection factory is changed we register an xa recovery resource with the transaction manager, this would be 1 per configuration, so If you had 1 RA with invm and 1 remote with localhost 5445 then we would register 1 resource for each.

Thanks Andy for quick answer. Is there also a situation when xa recovery resource is unregistered from transaction manager?

They are unregistered when the RA is shutdown or if in clustered mode as nodes go down.
