EAP 7.2 Console fields don't accept special character asterick (*)

Trying to add a new ConfigProperty for a resource adapter connection definition. The value I want to add has a * in it which is a completely acceptable for the property. However, the console does not allow me to enter this value. It shows up anytime there are non-standard characters being added to a property like this where you enter the value and hit enter to add it. I can add this just fine using CLI or by manually updating the xml directly. It's only an issue when updating in the console.
