"Data Format Type" field mandatory validation for Unmarshal component

When using an Unmarshal Component in your Route you can define a Data Format as:

1. a "global" definition (outside camelContext or using de Configurations tab) or
2. define inside the unmarshal component

in the first case (global def) you can use the Unmarshal ref attribute to reference the global Data Format by Id. But in this case, the Camel Editor says/shows the Data Format Type field as mandatory (see the screenshot attached).

In my option, if you defined the Data Format as global (Configurations tab) and referenced it using the component' s Ref attribute, the editor should not show the Data Format Type field as mandatory...
