Sockets in org.apache.activemq.transport.tcp.TcpTransportServer#socketQueue are not handled

The "ActiveMQ Transport Server Thread Handler:" thread that pulls sockets from the queue seemed to had died.Would it be feasible to stop using the org.apache.activemq.transport.tcp.TcpTransportServer#socketQueue if the "ActiveMQ Transport Server Thread Handler:" is not active.
