Collection on last level of XML document in Atlasmap identified as an object instead of collection

When trying to map the last level (3rd) of nested XML collection, it's not possible to map this to the same level of Json or Java.
The reason seems to be that the last level of nested collection of XML instance seems to be identified by atlasmap as an object.
