AWS dynamoDB example json not working

The examples provided by dynamoDB connector are not working - it seems it's not syntactically correct:

{key::#MYPARAMNAME} {"key"::#MYPARAMNAME}

from the provided demo recording, it seems that the correct syntax is:

{"key":":#MYPARAMNAME"}
