avoid the auto-selection of the Pin on the Properties tab

at some point recently (after 7.0 I suspect, though maybe it was from 6.0 onwards?) the Properties UI when connecting to remote Fuse JVMs has the Pin icon enabled by default - so the Properties UI is completely useless until you know to click the magic unpin button on the toolbar of the Properties view. This never used to behave this way and its very frustrating - and hides loads of functionality from users.

It'd be great to figure out how to disable that! I wonder if its a version upgrade regresssion?
