Description
Calling a feature "Deploy To..." implies that artifacts are going to be packaged for and deployed into a run time environment of some sort. It also implies that some feedback about the success or failure of the deployment will be given.
The Fuse IDE "Deploy To..." menu option does not do anything of the sort. It simply builds the project and copies the result to a local folder. The only feedback presented to the developer is if the build succeeds or fails.
The easiest fix for this would be to call the option "Export to...".
Ideally, this feature would be coupled with a mechanism for configuring a connection to a run time environment, ensure that the artifacts are properly packaged (at least through a warning if the package property in the POM is wrong), and provide some feedback about the status of the generated artifact once it is deployed.
