[7.2.x-openjdk11] Update bats tests to run with new CI

    Description

      This updates the bats test to rely on the same common directory structure for includes etc and allow the current CI configs to run the tests correctly.

      Note this version of the patch just updates the logging tests to sync with master, the actual testing issues had been merged as a required part of the 7.2.1-openjdk11 release.
