Description

If I restart tomcat my data in the bundled elasticsearch gets deleted.

I added two json files so you can see the difference.

msavy_jira I saw your comment on github:

feat(common-es): Use EmbeddedElastic library (confusing name) instead of
truly embedded Elasticsearch as this is no longer supported.

This spins up and manages an ES process, rather than hosting ES in the
same JVM, which is no longer supported.

May you can explain this a little bit more to me. Is the bundled ES in the overlay not supported anymore? Then why is this still deployed?
