Description
As we have opted for the enmasse/barnabas project for deploying Kafka on Openshift, we have 3 options to explore and play around with:
- In-memory: for testing and development purposes, and is the easiest to get going with.
- Persistent: uses persistent volumes to persist data for Kafka and Zookeeper. After speaking to Paolo he has recommended against using this version as it will no longer be maintained.
- Stateful-sets: and improvement on the Persisted version. A more robust solution in general and a good alternative to our current Docker setup.
