Description
Notifier is basically a wrapper around other libraries, similar to pipeline. I'm not sure it adds much value anymore other than the SimplePush part.
The Notifier Module came out of the need for something for Summit 2013.
If we deprecate this, then we will need to wait until a 3.0 release to totally remove it since the API is marked as "stable"
