AeroGear Ajax Throws error on Send with FireFox

On Firefox 29, probably earlier, if an empty object, {}, is put in the "send" method, firefox chokes

more specifically, if doing a PUT with an empty object, {}, trying against a couchDB instance, not sure if this is just isolated
