      Description

      See https://community.jboss.org/message/647192#647192 for specifics.

      Additional discussions:

      • My thinking on this is start with the archetypes, and the once wesley verifies the latest PR from kris we can merge it into jboss-as and then take that, to create our new structure in as-quickstarts
      • Then, before we have them "pull" our new repos into jboss-as we need to complete AEROGEAR-57 to make the archetype, and quickstart be in sync
      • Then we can talk about an initial tag, and work with Pete to get it merged in with sub-tree

sanity check, did you mean ag-archetype and ag-quickstart?

I meant as-quickstart, and as-archetype because these are for the jboss-as organization/repos. I figured that we may want our own /archetypes repo, and wanted to make sure we did not conflict.

            A couple of comments:

            • I'm assuming when all set, we'll start with a fresh repo called "as-quickstarts" - right?
            • We'll have to check with Pete, but I believe the structure of /as-quickstarts needs to contain our quickstarts at the top level. Something like

            /as-quickstarts
            ---/html5-mobile
            ---/poh5-helloworld

            • I noticed the the jboss-as quickstarts changed some of the naming convention and we should likely follow suite
              • The /html5-mobile is based on the /kitchensink quickstart, and all the other related quickstarts are now /kitchensink-foo
                • We should change /html5-mobile to /kitchensink-html5-mobile
              • Same with the helloworld
                • We should change /poh5-helloworld to /helloworld-html5
                  • We were asked not to use POH5 yet because it is not very common yet
            • Also, wondering where you got the poh5-helloworld?
              • It is the one I was thinking of but it does not seem to be in the as repo
            • Many of these updates should probably wait for PR #52 to be merged to avoid conflicts in the process

Let me know if you disagree with anything, or if you have questions.

I have created the as-quickstarts, and as-archetypes repos in aerogear.

I have also merged the latest PR #52 into jboss-as so we can continue with this.

Qmx - let me know if you run into any issues.
